Evaluation of type A behavior pattern is a subject of research in Psychology and Medicine because of the associated coronary risk factor. This paper proposes an evaluation instrument to detect subjects with more or less type A related behaviors. The evaluation instrument was applied to a sample of 244 subjects in three different studies and there was a test retest application four years later. The instrument showed reliability and it is offered as a behavioral technology to aid in early diagnosis and prevention of coronary heart disease.
