On the example of X-rays discovery, scientific sensibility in Croatia at the turn of the century is presented. The analysis of papers published in Lijecnicki vjesnik in the period 1896-1977 shows the role of this periodical in scientific dissemination of information related to X-rays discovery and development of roentgenology in Croatia.
