One hundred and twenty-five patients with chronic leg ulcers were involved in a study examining quality-of-life parameters1. The study aims were to investigate if leg ulcers influence quality of life and whether gender, age, present or previous profession and duration of the ulcer influence patients' perceptions of quality of life.
