This follow-up article presents the Sassouni Plus Cephalometric Analysis in its new, simplified form. The intention of the author is to update those already using the system, to suggest to those who have rejected use of the system in its original form that a new look at the simplified format may be in order, and to present this superior cephalometric system to those not presently familiar with its potential as a comprehensive, yet simple, diagnostic and treatment planning tool in dentofacial orthopedics. The author strongly suggests a reading (or rereading) of the original article (The Functional Orthodontist, May/June 1984) in order to maximize the educational value of this update.
