Analysis of mortality in outpatient departments

Outpatients mortality has been analyzed basing on the study of 470 case histories and autopsy protocols for the period 1984-1993. Cardiovascular diseases predominated among the death causes (86.1%). Ischemic heart disease accounted for 87.4% deaths due to the above diseases. Clinical and post-mortem diagnosis disagreed by the prior disease in 8.9%, by location of the tumor in 0.6% of cases.
