The paper deals with the problem of vestibular-visual interactions. It was found that color background has a marked influence on nystagmus components depending on the spectral characteristics. Yellow-green background is recommended as optimal in the performance of the rotation test. Patients with vestibulopathy can benefit from wearing yellow-green glasses in every day life. In patients with Meniere's disease and cochleovestibular neuritis color background produced specific changes in the principal parameters of the nystagmus.
