There is scientific evidence that these measures of secondary prevention and cardiac rehabilitation, not only diminishes the mortality and morbidity of the patients but also favour the return to work, reduce incapacities and improve the quality of life. The economic cost of these methods must not be an obstacle for the Administration, as recent studies about the cost-benefit analysis of these programmes have demonstrated.
