Eccrine acrospiroma in a young African male: case report

This is a report of a rare benign neoplasm of the sweat gland in a 23 year old African nude. Clinically, the growth had the appearance of an ulcerated malignant cutaneous neoplasm. It was completely and easily excised at surgery and the patient has remained well without recurrence five years after complete excision.
