Leprosy patients (14) were studied to determine the effect of leprosy on menarche, pregnancy, puerpurium and menopause. Leprosy had no direct effect on menstruation or fertility. Neither the endometrial tissue nor the menstrual blood showed any evidence of leprous granuloma or lepra bacilli.
