A case of this syndrome occurring with allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis in a 61-yr-old woman is described. Sputum culture produced a heavy growth of Aspergillus fumigatus. Treatment with gentamycin and natamycin , amongst other drugs, was unsuccessful and the patient died.
