Cette observation, qui concerne un Sénégalais de 35 ans, illustre les difficultés diagnostiques d'une affection devenue exceptionnelle. Les examens pré-opératoires, parmi lesquels l'échotomographie abdominale a orienté les investigations vers le pancréas, n'ont amené qu'au diagnostic de tumeur pancréatique. La laparotomie, qui s'imposait alors, a seule permis le diagnostic grâce à l'examen anatomopathologique des fragments tumoraux prélevés.
