The latest IAHSS annual survey, for 1992, has been expanded to include responses by foreign hospitals and to make available state-by-state comparisons. The highlights of this study, presented here, reveal a number of continuing trends featured in the 1987-1991 studies, as well as some significant new trends. Some 32 tables are included.
