Contraceptive potential of relatively low dose testosterone enanthate administration to langur monkeys has been evaluated. Azoospermia was achieved in 4 out of 5 animals following 60 days of treatment whilst in the fifth animal, only a moderate oligozoospermia was recorded. The later was associated with deprivation of sperm motility and viability. All the animals exhibited normal libido and potency. The treatment did not cause any adverse side effects and all the treatment induced changes were completely reversible.
