The article deals with the little-known method of stereophlebographic examination of patients with varicosity of the lower limb veins. The method and techniques of stereophlebography, planning of the operation and the sequence of its performance are described. The work generalizes 10-year experience in the use of this method in the management of patients. Seven thousand patients were examined and operated on by this method during the 10-year period, 4,500 of them in the recent three years; the results were good.
