Secretion of blood group specific substances in saliva of 380 patients with carcinoma of the cervix was studied, along with age-matched controls. Carcinoma of the uterine cervix is much more common in non-secretors (55.0%) than in secretors (45.0%). This difference was highly significant (P < 0.001).
