Clinics were held in hospitals starting i n March 1951. Publicity work was carried out cautiously at first but later all available means of publicity were fully utilized. In 15 months the total attendance at the 4 centers for which records are available was 1647. There was no opposition from any quarter and the response was beyond expectations. It is planned to start work in other cities.
