Extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE) was done in 35 eyes of 30 patients after previous retinal attachment surgery with scleral buckling. A posterior chamber intraocular lens (PC-IOL) was implanted in 35 eyes. No significant modification in the cataract surgical technique was necessary.
