The author analyzes cases of mass death of people in large-scale technologic disasters in Russia in the latest years, such as shipwreck in Novorossiisk in 1986, railway accidents in Arzamas in 1988 and in Bashkiria in 1989. Every focus of disaster was characterized by specific medicostrategic features determining different pattern of expert evaluation of those who suffered in accident.
