A case is reported in a diabetic woman from Spain, who developed acute anuria 12 d after renal transplantation. After 10 h, the patient spontaneously developed post-obstructive diuresis and a 2 x 1 x 0.1 cm piece of soft, white material was collected. Candida albicans was cultured from this material. Oral ketoconazole (200 mg twice daily) was given for 3 wk.
