Broncho-Vaxom in the treatment of bronchial asthma in children

Broncho-Vaxom was administered to 46 children aged between 8 and 12 years (28 boys and 18 girls) treated at spa. Twenty children not treated with Proncho-Vaxon served as relative control group. Incidence of rhinitis, laryngitis and bronchitis was significantly lower in children treated with Broncho-Vaxom (comparing to that before treatment) both during therapy and within 6 months following the treatment. The difference was statistically significant. In case of infectious from of the bronchial asthma, Broncho-Vaxom markedly diminished the symptoms to the higher degree than in case of children with infectious-atopic bronchial asthma.
