The retrograde atrial activation sequence is very important in locating the cardiac accessory pathways (AP). The atrial mapping during orthodromic supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) showed that earlier left atrial activation was found in patients with left-sided AP (LAP), earlier right atrial activation in patients with right-sided AP (RAP) and normal retrograde atrial activation sequence in patients with septal AP (SAP).
