A study completed in Dunedin, New Zealand, in which the relationship between municipal water supply and the occurrence of laboratory diagnosed giardiasis in humans over a 2-year period was investigated, is summarized. The project was published in detail in the American Journal of Public Health, 1991, 81 (6) 760-762.
