Tumours were transferred between cat and dog foetuses in almost all of 13 litters surviving to parturition after inoculation with tumour homogenate. Transfer was also successful between 25 of 26 kittens under two months old and 10 of 15 pups less than three days of age. Tumours were induced in three of four adult cats with kitten or pup homogenate, but could not be transferred to dogs aged four days to several years with pup homogenate.
