Erythema nodosum is a rare disease, it appears frequently in association with infectious disease and with some drugs administration. A case associated with pregnancy is presented. The importance of hormonal behavior in its genesis, is considered. We conclude that the transitional hormone state in women is a very important factor in it's appearance. Estrogens play an important roll in the immunological response.
