Computed tomographic semiotics of chronic subdural hematomas

Analysis of the results of investigation of 72 patients with verified chronic subdural hematomas (CSH) has revealed their CT dense characteristics, the peculiarities of their structure compared with the time of their formation, the patients' age, the clinical stage of disease, and operative findings. Direct and indirect CT signs of uni- and dilateral hemispherical chronic subdural hematomas were described.
