Methods of objective evaluation of pains suggested before require the use of different outfits. In some cases this circumstance makes it difficult to employ them in diagnostic practice. In view of this the author suggests a new method deprived of the above-indicated shortcoming. It is reduced to the application of drops of iodine solution in dimexide to the painful area and outside it. Asynchronous changes in the intensity of the staining of the spots formed as a result of drop smearing on the skin surface in the painful area and outside it confirm the presence of pains.
