The paper provides strong evidence for the fact that it is essential to take differential and individual approaches to the treatment of patients with stable angina with due regard for potentialities of their realization at various stages of cardiological care. A method of choosing antianginal agents on an individual basis was proposed, which was suitable for wide application in in- and outpatient settings. It was concluded that this method was comparable with the paired bicycle exercise method, which was based on the examination of 31 patients with Functional Classes II-III angina.
