Since 1969 antireflux operation has been used in the treatment of esophageal varices; since 1985 a gastro-gastro anastomosis has been used succesfully it is based on an increase of the periesophageal pressure and the creation of an antireflux mechanism. It is presented the satisfactory results in the last 30 patients.
