The use of the ultraviolet laser for treating gastroduodenal ulcers

Results are reported of the use of ultraviolet lasers in the complex treatment of 72 patients with uncomplicated gastroduodenal ulcers. The method proved highly effective in the treatment of this category of patients allowing to reduce significantly the number of treatment sessions, to reduce the hazard of development of complications related to the technique of gastroduodenoscopic examination and to reduce treatment time on the average by 2-3 days.
