Adolescent reproductive behavior in selected countries is analyzed using data from a variety of published sources. Some common characteristics of adolescent fertility are identified, and the effects of educational status and residential characteristics on adolescent fertility are noted. Other topics considered include age at menarche, contraceptive usage, personality, family relationships, and peer relationships. (SUMMARY IN ENG AND FRE)
