A comparative study of the impact of neuroleptanalgesia (NLA) and epidural anesthesia on lipid peroxidation (LPO) in the blood plasma and erythrocyte membranes has demonstrated that NLA has a more marked inhibitory effect on LPO. This type of anesthesia is characterized by effective protection of erythrocyte membranes, with intraoperative hemodynamic effects less expressed.
