The effect of UV-irradiated blood infusion on the clinical course of exacerbations and hemorrheological disorders was studied in patients with chronic bronchitis accompanied by I-III degree respiratory failure. The experimental data indicate the efficacy of UV-irradiated blood autotransfusion in the treatment of chronic bronchitis exacerbations. Indication and contraindications for this method are presented.
