Homocytotropic antibodies, which sensitized polymorphonuclear leucocytes so that they adhered to the parasitic cuticle, were detected in Ovis canadensis infected with Protostrongylus stilesi. The immunoglobulin mediating the adherence was IgG. The adherence reaction showed that the homocytotropic activity of the serum was directly related to the skin sensitizing activity.
