Efficacy of myelopid in immunodeficiency states

The effectiveness of myelopid was studied in 220 patients with immunodeficiency. The patients were subjected to a multimodality clinical and immunological examination. A case history of a 23-year-old women with general variable immunodeficiency, agammaglobulinemia, chronic purulent bronchitis, chronic pneumonia, purulent pansinusitis, chronic purulent otitis, bilateral cochlear neuritis, and intestinal dysbacteriosis was presented. It was found that myelopid is very effective when treating chronic bronchitis and chronic pneumonia accompanied with frequent exacerbations of the bronchopulmonary process. Myelopid should be given at the stage of exacerbation. The use of myelopid combined with antibacterial drugs makes it possible to achieve stable remission.
