Sexual function disorders in men with obliterating lesions of the genital arteries (the clinico-therapeutic aspects)

A structural analysis of sexual disorders caused by occlusive lesions of the genital arteries and their branches was carried out. The effectiveness of various methods for the conservative treatment of these disturbances was studied in 78 patients. The use of local decompression and xanthiol nicotinate and avenol therapy were considered, as was the combination of both methods. It was established that conservative treatment is effective only in patients who retain at least minimum sexual activity. Indications for reconstructive surgical interventions were described.
