Results of aerobic bacteriological cultivation of the vaginal and cervical smears of 185 women free of complaints and symptoms are evaluated. E. coli occur most frequently in our days in the vaginal and cervical smears. These bacteria became almost resistant to the earlier potent antibiotics. It is pointed out that the number of gynecological-, urological- and obstetric diseases and complications is growing in cases of infected vaginal and cervical discharge.
