Place: Teaching and Research Department, Hospital Militar Central, Buenos Aires, Argentina Objective: Survey has focused on the obtention of data of diverse aspects of human sexuality, and it was carried out in a web site in Internet (www.labeau.com.ar). It tries to determine, among other questions, what is understood by "having had sex" with another person. The preliminary results are presented. Materials and Methods: Open survey, online, simple blind, of free access, limited to adults of at least 21 years old, of one year of duration. Open and multiple choice questions in random order. Data were tabulated and statistically analyzed, searching for mean and confidence intervals. Results: 92 complete surveys were analyzed up to August 20, 2001, 55 males and 37 female. The average was of 34,76 years old (SD: 10,1). 86 of which refered had had sexual relations, 71 had stable sexual partners and 61 use some form of anticonception method, 24 of them were prescribed. The level of satisfaction in their sexual life was of 76%. The individual attitudes respect of "having had sex" if the intercourse was oral-genital are positive in 75,29%. 9,20% of the respondents did not consider that penileanal intercourse were sex. Conclusions: The resulting findings of the analysis of the survey show data of the general population and it also shows a wide range of opinions in the matter of had having sex. It's important to understand that further investigation and records must be done.
