The author presents his experience of 31 years in the medical treatment of varicose veins in the lower limbs in a series of 35.300 patients. By means of the association of sclerotic agents - anaesthetics, electrodesiccation and elastic bandages, when therapeutic indications allow, he achieves a considerable level of subjective and objective improvement, exceeding that obtained from the use of each method on its own.
