The lymphocyte blast-transformation test was used to study mitogen-induced peripheral blood lymphocyte proliferation in Kaposi's sarcoma. The combined use of this test and determination of lymphocyte OKT4/OKT+ ratio may be used to study the state of T-cellular immunity and peripheral blood lymphocyte activity in the clinical practice of immunodeficient states and in experimental immunological studies.
