Cholecystoscopy was performed in 52 patients at high risk of conventional surgical intervention after laparoscopic drainage of the gallbladder with a wide catheter. The results served the basis for diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation of the cholecystoscopic procedure. The author presents the techniques of diagnostic and therapeutic cholecystoscopy, bougieurage of the external fistula produced when draining the bladder.
