This annual report includes a general account of the institute and 7 unit specific reports, including a report of the Crop Protection Unit, Hamburg, Germany. Lists are given of the occurrence of plant viruses, bacteria, fungi, insect pests and nematodes in vegetables, fruits, ornamental plants, seeds, stored products, stored wood and trees in the Hamburg area. A total of 21 tests on crop protection are briefly described.
