The author conducted a clinico-laboratory and morphological evaluation of the effect of low- and moderate-frequency ultrasonics on the course of a purulent wound process. He found that ultrasonic waves of different frequency subbands differ in their effect on wound healing. The use of low-frequency ultrasonics is most expedient in phase 1, preference is given to ultrasonics of the moderate-frequency subband in phase 2.
