Use of Motilium in the perioperative period from the aspect of the anaesthesiologist

Motilium tablet was successfully used for the treatment of dyspeptic symptoms and nausea following gynaecological operations. The therapeutic observations refer to 63 operated women anaesthesized by different methods. The drug proved to be effective in the prevention of postoperative vomiting following minor gynaecological operations performed under short narcosis (81 cases). For this purpose the use of the drug is recommended in form of premedication. Interaction between Motilium and the used anaesthetics was not observed.
