Immunoglobulin classes analysis was performed on specific antibodies against LPS against LPS and lipid A isolated from Aeromonas sobria and non 01 Vibrio cholerae strains. The antisera were obtained by vaccination of rabbits with intact cells, lipopolysaccharides, and lipids A of Aeromonas sobria and non Vibrio cholerae strains. Then, individual classes of antibodies were isolated by a method combining salting of .gamma.-globulins by natural salt and fractionation into classes on anion exchanger DEAE-cellulose Subsequently, separate fraction after .gamma.-globulin separation were identified by immunoelectrophoresis, immunodysfusion and by designation of molecular weight of proteins present in particular fraction by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Passive haemogglutination tests and passive haemolysis run with individual fractions obtained after separation of immune sera and with homologous showed that specific antibodies against LPS of Aeromonas sobria and non Vibrio cholerae belong to IgM class and that antibodies against lipid A could be found in IgM and IgG classes.
