The authors describe and evaluate roentgenological methods of diagnosis of foreign bodies of the digestive tract (pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine). For topical and functional diagnosis of foreign bodies as well as for diagnosis of developing secondary changes in organs and tissues different roentgendiagnostic approaches are used dependent on the location of the foreign body.
