Real-time ultrasound has so far revealed its out-standing usefulness in detecting sick fetuses of any kind, and leading them to an appropriate management. Fetal medicine thus established today is further emerging into new era by introducing so-called new technological advent, involving color flow mapping, which will surely enable to evaluate the fetus in utero more precisely, and to understand them even on the pathophysiological basis; that is to say a goal of fetal medicine. Such is the issue herein discussed.
