Clinical investigation was performed in 24 male Grade II alcoholics and a control age-matched groups. Autonomic disorders were polymorphic both in cardiovascular and other systems. Corporal-auricular acupuncture changed the autonomic nervous control that was evidenced in 12-13 sessions of electrical acupuncture point measurement. Acupuncture increased the parasympathetic influences. The data reflect the stabilization of adaptive mechanisms which were deteriorated in alcoholic patients.
