A device for ECG autotranslation over the telephone was described. Data were presented on its design and application. The ECG autotranslation over the telephone makes it possible to detect and observe the development of unfavorable clinical and ECG symptoms, to detect transitory rhythm and conduction, diagnose early the exacerbation of ischemic heart disease complications and prevent them. It also makes it possible to evaluate the treatment and rehabilitation measures conducted and correct them if necessary. This is a promising method, which may be used for the prophylaxis of sudden coronary death.
