It is reported on successful results in the treatment of skeletal re-bites (angle class II/1) by means of the activator-headgear combination to Beek performed in patients aged 12 to 14 years. The duration of treatment amounted 14 to 16 months, the following retention took 1 to 1.5 years. In case of an exact diagnostics, complications during treatment had scarcely been perceived, but these can be caused by application of unsuited forces, the patient's age and excessive use of the instrument as well. Failures can among the other thins appear in false nasal respiration.
