The Quetico-Superior Wilderness Research Center aims at recording and understanding forest growth and changes, and consists largely of long-range studies in which the facts do not change greatly from one year to the next. This report summarizes project which have been active for a number of years and on which work was done in 1966. Discussed are tree improvement work in all its phases, ecology, and cooperative projects. Also mentioned are the associated colleges of the midwest, demolished resort site plantings, and publications from the Center.
